Work in Progress!

This game was made for the Card Deck Jam, and unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to really flesh out an entire game, but a lot of the components are here!. The theme was Building and I had intended to integrate it via deck building and story building, neither of those goals were reached.

Planned Features

If you're interested in the planned features, you can find them here, many of these were cut to meet the jam deadline, but I imagine I'd like to continue working on this game, as a lot of the framework has been set up now, and it should be fairly easy to add more content and features, now that I have a very stable ground. 

How to play

Every turn, you draw a card, click a card to play it. Characters can't attack the first turn they're played.

Pass the turn and the AI will play out their turn and immediately pass it back.

Click one of your characters to select it for attacking, and click either opponent's characters to attack. Any character still able to attack at the end of your turn will attempt to attack the opponent's grimoire if possible.

Once a grimoire runs out of HP, they lose!

I love it. It seems really balanced currently (i dont blame you in my game you always win as long as you dont skip your turn. I would be interested in seeing what the rules will do to affect the characters you can play!

pfff balanced only means you haven't discovered the strategy of letting everyone die til you pull two woodcutters and start mowing everything down

It seems to me that he lost 24 moves ago or not?
Maybe this is the second phase..?

Ah yeah there's no real ending right now, not enough time to really put one together for me between work and sleep, In a future update post jam I'll definitely go for it
